Social Media and the Teenage Brain
About the study: We want to understand how social media impacts teenagers’ brain function and how they behave.
We are looking for adolescents aged 13-17 who use at least 1 social media platform, such as TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook.
Study plan: 1 visit lasting up to 1h 30mins, including an MRI scan during which participants complete cognitive tasks.
Location: Cardiff University Brain Research & Imaging Centre (CUBRIC)
Pay: £20 for participation
